و َكانَتْ وَظِيفَةُ أربَعَةٍ وَعِشْرِينَ ألفاً مِنْ هَؤُلاءِ الإشْرافَ عَلَى عَمَلِ بَيتِ اللهِ. وَكانَ سِتَّةُ آلافٍ مِنْهُمْ عُرَفاءَ وَقَضاةً.
