ل َكِنَّ داوُدَ لَمْ يَقْدِرْ أنْ يَذْهَبَ إلَى هُناكَ لِيَسألَ اللهَ ، لأنَّهُ خَافَ مِنْ مَلاكِ اللهِ وَمِنْ سَيْفِهِ.

but David could not go before it to enquire of God, for he was afraid because of the sword of the angel of the LORD.
