و َذَهَبَ داوُدُ وَكُلُّ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ إلَى مَدينَةِ القُدْسِ، أي يَبُوسَ، حَيثُ كانَ اليَبُوسِيُّونَ، وَهُمْ سُكّانُ الأرْضِ الأصلِيُّونَ، مازالُوا يَسْكُنُونَ.

David and all Israel went to Jerusalem (also called Jebus); and the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land, were there.
