ﺃﺧﺒﺎﺭ ﺍﻷﻳﺎﻡ ﺍﻷ 11:19 ~ 1 Chronicles 11:19

و قالَ: «لا سَمَحَ اللهُ! كَيفَ أشْرَبُ مِنْ هَذا الماءَ. فَكأنَّني أشْرَبُ دَمَ هَؤُلاءِ الرِّجالِ الّذين خَاطَرُوا بِحَياتِهِمْ مِنْ أجلِي.» فَرَفَضَ داوُدُ أنْ يَشْرَبَ الماءَ. وَقَدْ فَعَلَ الأبطالُ الثَّلاثَةُ كَثِيراً مِنَ البُطُولاتِ. أبطالٌ آخَرُون

and said, May God keep me from doing this thing. Shall I drink the blood of these men that have put their lives in jeopardy? For with the jeopardy of their lives they brought it. Therefore, he would not drink it. These things did these three mightiest.
