و َماتَ حُوشامُ، فَخَلَفَهُ هَدَدُ بْنُ بَدَدَ الَّذِي هَزَمَ مِدْيانَ فِي بِلادِ مُوآبَ، وَكانَتْ مَدِينَتُهُ تُدْعَى عَوِيتُ.
