ل َكِنْ بَينَما كانَ أحَدُهُمْ يَقطَعُ شَجَرَةً، انفَلَتَ رَأسُ الفأسِ وَوَقَعَ فِي الماءِ. فَصَرَخَ الرَّجُلُ: «يا سَيِّدِي، إنَّها فَأسٌ مُستَعارَةٌ.»
