و َكانَ الأرامِيُّونَ قَدْ خَرَجُوا فِي غَزَواتٍ عَدِيدَةٍ ضِدَّ إسْرائِيلَ. وَفِي إحدَى غَزَواتِهِمْ أسَرُوا بِنْتاً صَغِيرَةً مِنْ أرْضِ إسْرائِيلَ. فَصارَتْ خادِمَةً لِزَوْجَةِ نُعْمانَ.
