ف َقالَتْ أُمُّ الولَدِ: «أُقْسِمُ بِاللهِ الحَيِّ وَبِحَياتِكَ، لَنْ أعُودَ إلَى بَيتِي إلّا مَعَكَ!» فَقامَ ألِيشَعُ وَتَبِعَها.

The mother of the lad said, “ As the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” And he arose and followed her.
