و َصَحا المُوآبِيُّونَ فِي الصَّباحِ الباكِرِ. وَكانَتْ أشِعَّةُ الشَّمْسِ تَسْطَعُ عَلَى مِياهِ الوادِي. فَبَدَتْ لِلمُوآبِيِّينَ دَماً.

Se levantaron muy de mañana, y cuando el sol brilló sobre el agua, los moabitas vieron el agua frente a ellos tan roja como la sangre.
