ك انَ يَهُوآحازُ فِي الثّالِثَةِ وَالعِشْرِينَ مِنْ عُمْرِهِ عِنْدَما تَوَلَّى الحُكْمَ. وَحَكَمَ ثَلاثَ شُهُورٍ فِي القُدْسِ. وَكانَ اسْمُ أُمِّهِ حَمُوطَلَ بِنْتَ إرْمِيا مِنْ لِبْنَةَ.
