ف َوَضَعَ خُدّامُهُ جُثَّتَهُ فِي مَرْكِبَةٍ وَحَمَلُوهُ مِنْ مَجَدُّو إلَى مَدينَةِ القُدْسِ. وَدَفَنُوهُ فِي قَبْرِهِ. فَجاءَ عامَّةُ الشَّعبِ وَأخَذُوا يَهُوآحازَ بْنَ يُوشِيّا وَمَسَحُوهُ. وَنَصَّبُوهُ مَلِكاً بَدَلاً مِنْ أبِيهِ. يَهُوآحازُ مَلِكُ يَهُوذا

Josiah’s servants carried him dead in a chariot from Megiddo, brought him to Jerusalem, and buried him in his own tomb. The people of the land anointed Jehoahaz son of Josiah king in his stead.
