و شَنَّ مَلِكُ أشُّورَ هَجَماتٍ عَلَى جَمِيعِ مَناطِقِ إسْرائِيلَ. ثُمَّ جاءَ إلَى السّامِرَةِ، وَحاصَرَها ثَلاثَ سَنَواتٍ.

Then the king of Assyria came up throughout all the land, went up to Samaria, and besieged it three years.
