ف َكانَ النّاسُ ما يَزالُونَ يُقَدِّمُونَ الذَّبائِحَ وَيَحرِقُونَ البَخُورَ فِي مُرْتَفَعاتِ العِبادَةِ.

With all this, the high places were not taken away; as yet the people sacrificed and burnt incense on the high places.
