ع َمِلَ أمَصْيا ما يُرْضِي اللهَ ، لَكِنَّهُ لَمْ يَتبَعِ اللهَ اتِّباعاً كامِلاً مِثلَ سَلَفِهِ داوُدَ. بَلْ عَمِلَ كُلَّ ما سَبَقَ أنْ عَمِلَهُ يُوآشُ أبُوهُ.

Il fit ce qui est droit aux yeux de l'Éternel, non pas toutefois comme David, son père; il agit entièrement comme avait agi Joas, son père.
