ف َجاءَ الرَّسُولُ إلَى ياهُو وَقالَ لَهُ: «لَقَدْ أحضَرُوا رُؤُوسَ أبناءِ المَلِكِ.» فَقالَ ياهُو: «كَوِّمُوا الرُّؤُوسَ كَوْمَتَينِ عِندَ بابِ المَدِينَةِ حَتَّى الصَّباحِ.»

Veio um mensageiro e lhe anunciou, dizendo: Trouxeram as cabeças dos filhos do rei. E ele disse: Ponde-as em dois montões ã entrada da porta, até pela manhã.
