و َكانَ الشَّعبُ يُقَدِّمُونَ الذَّبائِحَ للهِ عَلَى المَذابِحِ فِي المُرتَفَعاتِ، لأنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ قَدْ بُنِيَ بَعْدُ بَيْتٌ إكْراماً لاسْمِ اللهِ فِي ذَلِكَ الوَقتِ.

But the people sacrificed in the high places, for there was no house yet built to the Name of the Lord.
