و َكانَ رِجالُ بِنْهَدَدَ يَنتَظِرُونَ كَلِمَةً يَستَبشِرُونَ بِها. فَلَمّا دَعاهُ أخآبُ أخاً لَهُ، أيَّدُوهُ فَوراً وَقالُوا: «نَعَمْ! إنَّ بِنْهَدَدَ أخٌ لَكَ.» فَقالَ أخآبُ: «أحضِرُوهُ لِي.» فَجاءَ بِنْهَدَدُ إلَى أخآبَ. فَطَلَبَ مِنْهُ أخآبُ أنْ يَركَبَ المَركَبَةَ مَعَهُ.

Now the men were watching for something special to happen. They were quick to catch his word, and said, “Yes, your brother Ben-hadad.” Then Ahab said, “Go and bring him.” So Ben-hadad came out to him, and Ahab took him up into the war-wagon.
