ﺍﻟﻤﻠﻮﻙ ﺍﻷﻭ 2:26 ~ 1 Kings 2:26

ث ُمَّ قالَ المَلِكُ سُلَيْمانُ لِلكاهِنِ أبِياثارَ: «أنتَ تَستَحِقُّ أنْ أقتُلَكَ، لَكِنِّي سَأسْمَحُ لَكَ بِالرُّجُوعِ إلَى بَيتِكَ فِي عَناثُوتَ. لَنْ أقتُلَكَ الآنَ لِأنَّكَ ساعَدْتَ فِي حَملِ صُنْدُوقِ عَهدِ رَبِّي الإلَهِ أثناءَ مَسِيرِكَ مَعَ داوُدَ أبِي. وَقَدْ شارَكْتَ أبِي فِي ضِيقاتِهِ.»

And the king said to Abiathar the priest, Go to Anathoth, to thine own fields; for thou art worthy of death; but I will not at this time put thee to death, because thou didst bear the ark of Adonai Jehovah before David my father, and because thou hast been afflicted in all wherein my father was afflicted.
