ﺍﻟﻤﻠﻮﻙ ﺍﻷﻭ 2:15 ~ 1 Kings 2:15

ف َقالَ: «أنتِ تَعْرِفينَ أنَّ المَملَكَةَ كانَتْ ذاتَ يَومٍ لِي. وَقَدْ تَوَقَّعَ جَميعُ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ أنِّي سَأكُونُ مَلِكاً عَلَيهِمْ. غَيرَ أنَّ الحالَ تَغَيَّرَتْ. فَصارَ أخِي المَلِكَ الآنَ لِأنَّ اللهَ هُوَ الَّذِي اختارَهُ لِهَذا.

So he said, “You know that the kingdom was mine and that all Israel expected me to be king; however, the kingdom has turned about and become my brother’s, for it was his from the Lord.
