ﺍﻟﻤﻠﻮﻙ ﺍﻷﻭ 17:1 ~ 1 Kings 17:1

ك انَ إيلِيّا نَبِيّاً مِنْ بَلْدَةِ تِشْبِي فِي جِلْعادَ. فَذَهَبَ إيلِيّا إلَى أخآبَ وَقالَ لَهُ: «أُقْسِمُ بِاللهِ الحَيِّ، إلَهِ إسْرائِيلَ، الَّذِي أقِفُ فِي حَضْرَتِهِ، لَنْ يَنزِلَ مَطَرٌ وَلا نَدَىً فِي السَّنَواتِ القادِمَةِ، إلّا عِندَما آمُرُهُ بِالنُّزُولِ.»

Now Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the settlers of Gilead, said to Ahab, “ As the Lord, the God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, surely there shall be neither dew nor rain these years, except by my word.”
