و َكانَ زِمْرِي أحَدَ قادَةِ المَلِكِ أيلَةَ. إذْ كانَ مَسؤُولاً عَنْ نِصْفِ مَركِباتِ أيلَةَ. لَكِنَّ زِمْرِي هَذا حاكَ مُؤامَرَةً ضِدَّ أيلَةَ. كانَ أيلَةُ فِي تِرْصَةَ يَأْكُلُ وَيَسكَرُ فِي بَيتِ أرصا المَسؤُولِ عَنْ قَصْرِ المَلِكِ فِي تِرْصَةَ.
And his slave Zimri, captain of half his chariots, conspired against him, as he was in Tirzah, drinking himself drunk in the house of Arza, steward of his house in Tirzah.
