و َفَضلاً عَنْ شُحناتِ الذَّهَبِ الكَبِيرَةِ، كانَ يَحْصُلُ عَلى ذَهَبٍ مِنَ التُّجّارِ الكِبارِ وَالصِّغارِ، وَمِنْ مُلُوكِ العَرَبِ وَوُلاةِ الأرْضِ.
