و َوَضَعَ داود فِرَقاً مِنَ الجُنودِ في كافَّةِ أنْحاءِ أدُومَ التي أصْبَح سُكّانُها كُلُّهم مِنْ خُدّامِهِ وَخاضِعِينَ لَهُ. وَكانَ اللهُ يَنْصُرُ داوُدَ حَيثُما تَوَجَّهَ. حُكْمُ داوُد

He put garrisons throughout all Edom, and all the Edomites became his servants. And the Lord preserved and gave victory to wherever he went.
