« قُلْ هَذا لِخادِمِي داوُدَ: هَذا هُوَ ما يَقُولُهُ اللهُ القَدِيرُ: ‹اخْتَرْتُكَ عِنْدما كُنْتَ في المَراعِي تَتْبَعُ الغَنَمَ. أخَذْتُكَ مِنْ عَمَلِكَ وَجَعَلْتُكَ رَئِيسَ شَعبِي، بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ.
