ق الَ داوُدُ لِيُوآبَ وَلِلنّاسِ الّذينَ كانُوا مَعَهُ جَمِيعاً: «مَزِّقوا مَلابِسَكُم وَارْتَدوا الخَيْشَ. ابْكُوا وَالْطِمُوا عَلَى أبْنَيْرَ.» وَمَشَى داوُدُ المَلِكُ وِراءَ النَّعْشِ.

And David said to Joab and to all the people with him, Rend your clothes, gird yourselves with sackcloth, and mourn before Abner. And King David followed the bier.
