ﺻﻤﻮﺋﻴﻞ ﺍﻟﺜﺎﻧﻲ 21:2 ~ 2 Samuel 21:2

ل م يَكُنِ الجبعونيّونَ مِنَ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ، بَلْ كانوا جَماعَةً من بِقِيَّةِ الأمُوريِّينَ. وَكانَ بَنُو إسْرائِيلَ قَدْ وعَدوهُم بألّا يُلحِقوا الأذَى بِهِم. لَكِنَّ شاوُلَ أرادَ أنْ يَقضِيَ عَلَيهِمْ بِسببِ غَيرَتهِ عَلَى بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ وبَنِي يهُوَّذا. فَجَمَعَ المَلِكُ داودُ الجبعونيّين وكلَّمَهُم.

And the king called the Gibeonites and said unto them: (now the Gibeonites were not of the sons of Israel, but of the remnant of the Amorites; and the sons of Israel had sworn unto them, and Saul had sought to slay them in his zeal for the sons of Israel and Judah).
