ث ُمَّ جاءَ خُدّامُ أبشالُومَ إلَى المَرْأةِ في المَنْزِلِ وَسَألُوها: «أينَ هُما يُوناثان وَأخِيمَعَصُ؟» فقالَتْ لَهُمُ المَرأةُ: «سَبَقَ أنْ عَبَرا بِركَةَ المِياهِ.» ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ الخُدّامُ بَحْثاً عَنْ يُوناثانَ وَأخِيمَعَصَ لكِنَّهُم لَمْ يَجِدُوهُما فَعادُوا إلَى مَدينَةِ القُدْسِ.

Then Absalom’s servants came to the woman at the house and said, “Where are Ahimaaz and Jonathan?” And the woman said to them, “They have crossed the brook of water.” And when they searched and could not find them, they returned to Jerusalem.
