ف َقالَ يُونادابُ بْنُ شِمْعَى أخِي داوُدَ: «لا تَظُنَّ يا مَولايَ أنَّ أبناءَ الملِكِ جَمِيعاً ماتُوا! أمْنُونُ وَحْدَهُ قَدْ ماتَ. كانَ أبشالوم يُخَطِّطُ لِهَذا مُنْذُ اليَوْم الذي اغْتَصَبَ فيه أمْنُونُ أخْتَهُ ثامارَ.
