ف َمزَّقَ الملِكُ داوُدُ ثِيابَهُ وَانْطَرَحَ عَلَى الأرْضِ. كَذَلِكَ مزَّق ضُبّاطَهُ الواقِفُونَ إلَى جانبِهِ ثيابَهُم.

Auzind acestea, regele s-a sculat, şi-a sfâşiat hainele şi s-a culcat la pământ; slujitorii săi stăteau în picioare, având şi ei hainele sfâşiate.
