و َراقَبَ يُوآبُ المَدينَةَ وَحَدَّدَ موقِع العَمُّونِيِّينَ الأكثرَ شَجاعَةً وَقُوَّةً. وَاخْتارَ أُورِيّا لِكَي يَذْهَبَ إلَى ذاكَ المَوقِعِ.
