و َنَظَرَ اللهُ إلَى الأرْضِ، فَكانَتْ فاسِدَةً حَقّاً، لأنَّ جَمِيعَ النّاسِ أفسَدُوا طُرُقَهُمْ عَلَى الأرْضِ.

And God saw the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way upon the earth.
