و َبَدَأتْ سَنَواتُ المَجاعَةِ، تَماماً كَما قالَ يُوسُفُ. كانَتِ المَجاعَةُ فِي كُلِّ الأقْطارِ. أمّا فِي أرْضِ مِصْرَ فَكانَ هُناكَ طَعامٌ.

The seven years of scarcity and famine began to come, as Joseph had said they would; the famine was in all lands, but in all of Egypt there was food.
