ف َقالَ إبْراهِيمُ: «قُلْتُ فِي نَفْسِي: ‹لا بُدَّ أنَّهُ لَيسَ هُناكَ فِي هَذا المَكانِ مَنْ يَتَّقِي اللهَ. وَلِهَذا فَإنَّهُمْ سَيَقْتُلُونَنِي لِأجلِ زَوْجَتِي.›
