ث ُمَّ انطَلَقَ الرِّجالُ مِنْ هُناكَ وَأشْرَفُوا عَلَى سَدُومَ وَعَمُورَةَ. وَكانَ إبْراهِيمُ يَمْشِي مَعَهُمْ لِيُوَدِّعَهُمْ. إبْراهيمُ يَطلُبُ العَفوَ عَن المدينة
