ف ِي ذَلِكَ اليَوْمِ قَطَعَ اللهُ عَهْداً مَعَ أبْرامَ فَقالَ: «لِنَسلِكَ سَأُعْطِي هَذِهِ الأرْضِ، مِنْ نَهْرِ مِصْرَ إلَى النَّهْرِ العَظِيمِ، نَهْرِ الفُراتِ.
