و َلَمّا أخَذَتِ الشَّمْسُ فِي المَغِيبِ، وَقَعَ عَلَى أبْرامَ نَوْمٌ عَمِيقٌ، كَما وَقَعَتْ عَلَيهِ ظُلْمَةٌ مُرْعِبَةٌ.

And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.
