و َسَكَنَ أبْرامُ فِي أرْضِ كَنْعانَ. وَأمّا لُوطُ فَسَكَنَ فِي مُدُنِ وادِي الأُرْدُنِّ، وَقَرَّبَ خَيمَتَهُ مِنْ مَدِينَةِ سَدُومَ.

Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan; and Lot dwelt in the cities of the plain, and pitched tents as far as Sodom.
