A nd the Philistines put themselves in array against Israel; and the battle spread, and Israel was routed before the Philistines; and they slew in battle array in the field about four thousand men.

І вишикувались филистимляни навпроти Ізраїля, а коли бій став тяжкий, то Ізраїль був побитий перед филистимлянами. І вони побили в боєвому шикові на полі близько чотирьох тисяч чоловіка.
