a ll the valiant men arose and went all night, and took the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons from the wall of Beth-shan, and came to Jabesh, and burned them there.

فَذَهَبَ كُلُّ الرِّجالِ الشُّجْعانِ الأقوِياءِ فِيها إلَى بَيتَ شانَ. سارُوا طَوالَ اللَّيلِ، وَتَسَلَّقُوا سُورَ بَيت شانَ. وَأنزَلُوا عَنهُ جُثَثَ شاوُلَ وَبَنِيهِ، وَحَمَلُوها إلَى يابِيشَ. وَهُناكَ أحرَقَ أهلُ يابِيشَ جُثَثَ شاوُلَ وَبَنِيهِ الثَّلاثَةِ،
