A nd David left neither man nor woman alive, to bring to Gath, for he said, Lest they should tell of us, saying, So did David. And such was his custom as long as he abode in the country of the Philistines.

David no dejaba con vida hombre ni mujer para traer a Gat y dijo: “No sea que nos descubran, diciendo: ‘Así ha hecho David, y así ha sido su costumbre todo el tiempo que ha morado en el territorio de los Filisteos.’”
