A nd David arose and came to the place where Saul had encamped; and David beheld the place where Saul lay, and Abner the son of Ner, the captain of his host; and Saul lay within the wagon-defence, and the people were encamped round about him.

Entonces se dispuso a ir adonde Saúl estaba acampando, y luego de examinar el lugar vio donde dormían Saúl y Abner hijo de Ner, que era el general de su ejército. Y Saúl dormía en el campamento, y el ejército acampaba a su derredor.
