A nd as he talked with them, behold there came up the champion, the Philistine of Gath, Goliath by name, out of the ranks of the Philistines, and spoke according to the same words; and David heard.

Pe cînd vorbea cu ei, iată că Filisteanul din Gat, numit Goliat, a înaintat între cele două oştiri, ieşind afară din şirurile Filistenilor. A rostit aceleaşi cuvinte ca mai înainte, şi David le -a auzit.
