A nd they cried to Jehovah and said, We have sinned, because we have forsaken Jehovah, and have served the Baals and the Ashtoreths; and now deliver us out of the hand of our enemies, and we will serve thee.

Allora gridarono al Signore e dissero: “Abbiamo peccato, perché abbiamo abbandonato il Signore e abbiamo servito gli idoli di Baal e di Astarte; ma ora liberaci dalle mani dei nostri nemici, e serviremo te”.
