1 Samuel 11:1 ~ ﺻﻤﻮﺋﻴﻞ ﺍﻷﻭﻝ 11:1

A nd Nahash the Ammonite came up and encamped against Jabesh-Gilead. And all the men of Jabesh said to Nahash, Make a covenant with us, and we will serve thee.

وَبَعدَ شَهرٍ، حاصَرَ ناحاشُ العَمُّونِيُّ وَجَيشُهُ يابِيشَ جِلعادَ. فَقالَ كُلُّ أهلِ يابِيشَ لَهُ: «إذا صَنَعتَ مُعاهَدَةً بَينَنا وَبَينَكَ، فَإنَّنا سَنَخدِمُكَ.»
