A nd the Spirit of Jehovah was upon him, and he judged Israel; and he went out to war, and Jehovah gave Chushan-rishathaim king of Syria into his hand; and his hand prevailed against Chushan-rishathaim.

Дух Господа сошел на него, он стал судьей Израиля и отправился воевать. Господь отдал Кушан-Ришатаима, царя Арама, в руки Отниила, который одержал над ним победу.
