A nd he smote them from Aroer until thou come to Minnith, twenty cities, even unto Abel-Cheramim, with a very great slaughter; and the children of Ammon were subdued before the children of Israel.

El i-a măcelărit de la Aroer până la intrarea în Minit şi până la Abel-Cheramim, distrugând douăzeci de cetăţi. A fost un măcel foarte mare. Astfel, amoniţii au fost umiliţi înaintea Israeliţilor.
