T hen Jephthah fled from his brethren, and dwelt in the land of Tob. And vain men were gathered to Jephthah, and they made expeditions with him.

فَتَرَكَ يَفْتاحُ إخْوَتَهُ وَعاشَ فِي أرْضِ طُوبٍ. وَاجتَمَعَ حَولَ يَفتاحَ بَعضُ الرِّجالِ المَنبُوذينَ وَتَبِعُوهُ.
