Joshua 5:4 ~ ﻳﺸﻮﻉ 5:4

A nd this is the cause why Joshua circumcised: all the people that had come out of Egypt, the males, all the men of war, had died in the wilderness on the way, after they came out of Egypt.

وَهَذا هوَ سَبَبُ خَتْنِ يَشُوعَ لَهُمْ: كُلُّ الذُّكُورِ الَّذِينَ خَرَجُوا مِنْ مِصْرَ، أي كُلُّ المُحارِبِينَ، ماتُوا فِي البَرِّيَّةِ فِي الرِّحلَةِ بَعْدَ خُرُوجَهَمْ مِنْ مِصْرَ.
