a nd when Jehovah thy God shall give them up before thee and thou shalt smite them, then shalt thou utterly destroy them: thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them.

când Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, ţi le va da şi le vei învinge, să le nimiceşti cu totul. Să nu închei legământ cu ele şi nici să nu-ţi fie milă de ele.
