A nd thou shalt consume all the peoples that Jehovah thy God will give up unto thee; thine eye shall not spare them, and thou shalt not serve their gods; for that would be a snare unto thee.

Să distrugeţi toate popoarele pe care Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru, vi le va da. Ochii voştri să nu privească cu milă spre ele şi să nu slujiţi zeilor lor, fiindcă lucrurile acestea vor fi o capcană pentru voi.
